How do ya'll fight?

With your spouse or SO? Are you a yeller? Or do you get quiet and walk away?

We usually go rock-paper-scissors.

Do ya'll hold grudges or seek revenge?

This would be a great question for our neighbors who live the grudge/revenge/hate/aggression/violence lifestyle that could make a highlight reel for the show cops, pretty much every day.

DW and I some how manage to live a relatively drama free life. It helps that both of us are very independent and really have no use for each other than love.

Or maybe we're just too lazy to make a fuss out of silly shit.

We don't fight, never have. We have known couples who would get into arguments in front of anyone and that's embarrassing, at least we were embarrassed. And it always seemed to be about small stuff. I guess we try to remember that two part rule 1) don't sweat the small stuff, 2) it's all small stuff. Either that or like BIS we're too lazy.

Seriously though. when disagreements come up, and occasionally they do, we try to remember why we wanted to be together in the first place, and that always trumps the 'I gotta be right.'

What about fights with co-workers or friends?

There are no marriages that don't disagree on something. We will debate, but no fights.

If someone messes with me, well, I don't take any shit. Nothing physical.

When my children were younger, and they were messed with (I had a neighbor who didn't like me so she lashed out at my daughter when she was only 5), the mother bear comes out. This neighbor, who's a real bitch-got roared at.
