A normal work week as usual except I'm Gonna start one of those 7 day crash diets to prepare for my backpacking trip this weekend. Also Throwing a 100th birthday party for the sweetest lady I've ever met.

Supposed to be a wet week, so I'll spend much of it kicking the mud off my shoes.

No crash diet, but the plan is to lose another 2-3 pounds this week through daily runs and green juice for lunch.

Into the juicer any combo of kale, celery, apple, chard, spinach, carrot, orange, cucumber. Pulp makes good compost.

You know I have never had kale before in my life. I've never even heard of chard before. So is his juice drink good with all those flavors or do you just drink it cause it's healthy?

It's actually delicious. IMO. You can vary ingredients to your liking. Swiss chard and kale are pretty common at the produce isle here in CA. We are attempting to grow them this year.

This is the documentary that got me interested in juicing. I recommend it aside from juicing. One mans transformation is pretty heartwarming.
Initially I started juicing for health reasons and still do, but I have grown to really enjoy the taste. Very refreshing and feel really energized after.
