It's my favorite weekend of the year other than maybe Christmas. I have run it 6 times, and was hanging out with friends doing it this year tonight. Monday night I will hang out with my other running club, and listen to how it went for them. I have never lived far from the course

Even though I'm mostly a tree humping pacifist and don't even hunt, I enjoy shooting guns. POW POW!! I just added a Springfield XD-s to my toy box. BANG BANG BANG!!

I can relate banana. I like target shooting. Would love to skeet shoot. But I am probably not safe for the fast motion. No
I prefer a 22, as I am a bit of a sissy.

You know I collect those too, but only own 4. I own probably 8 pairs of shades and just gave away another 3.

I like shooting 22s. It's cheap and doesn't wear you or your ears out.

I agree, but I don't like having some twerp come thru town buying all the ammo!

I've never understood the 22 shortages of the past few years.

I've got you beat by-over 20 pairs. And I gave some away too.

I've only shot a high powered shot gun once. It hurt my shoulder.

My brother is a sharp shooter with his gun and bow. I've got to ask him how many yards he does. I only know it impressed a lot guys and broke a records in tournaments.
He was natural at it even before he became a Marine.

We have neighbors that keep bees but recently they have had problems with colony collapse. I know there are various theories regarding why bee colonies are collapsing. How are yours doing?

I suffered major losses, this winter. Very frustrating.

Due to ...family issues, I was late getting my mite treatments done, last fall. The colonies were weakened by disease going into the winter, and just couldn't keep the population high enough to make it through. Varroa mites are the ticks of the bee world, and they carry diseases which they transfer to the girls.

You don't cut on quality CA. And, the new ones you posted on RWOL are awesome!
Mine are mostly novelty/fashion.

I only have 3 running glasses. Oakley ( a gift my eldest daughter) and 2 Nike.

Thanks about Boston but never a BQ. My running club gets numbers, and in the old days knew people also. 1 year I was offered 4 numbers. I did that by asking everyone I knew. Eventually those groups found they could fund raise with them, but I still have my club.
