Very little running of late. Monday = Yoga.

I'm thinking about taking a few weeks "off" of running, meaning no pressure to hit any mileage weekly goals. The 2 weeks of the sinus crud really took a toll on me in the accomplishment and motivation departments. Vacation soon, so that should help my mojo.

Very little running last week and this. The post-HM week's low milage was planned, but this week it's because of a hit-'n-run tummy bug. Energy level is very low right now.

How'd your half go?
I've been struggling - my 10K took a lot out of me, then I got sick for a few days, then cold weather and the winter blahs set in. I'm trying to get out the door for 3 miles every day, weather permitting.

It was tough. 68° at the start, 78° when we finished, and humidity in the high 80's. I was off my best time of 1:52:06 by 21 minutes, but considering the conditions I figure that wasn't too bad. There were a lot, including veteran runners, who didn't finish at all.

I am having a tough time with my running right now also. It was a few days with the grand, then I got sick for 2 weeks sinus crud, now I have no excuse. Ran 2 miles tonight, felt fine. It's so dark, cold, wet, icky out. Ho hum. Going on vacation next week, so the running will probably be sporadic for the next couple weeks. I have new shoes, so you know I will get back to it. Very Happy

Is it warm and sunny?

6 miles today, first time I've run that far since my race in mid-October. Gotta get my mojo back to win a pumpkin pie at the Thanksgiving 5K!
