| With the leaks on both candidates, this should be very entertaining.
Anyone going to watch it?

| I think Trump will have to walk a line between being more respectful this time while at the same time driving home something positive. I don't think continually interrupting again will help. I suspect he will announce some grand gesture he proposes.
As far as Clinton I think she is smarter and will bait and allow Trump to hang himself tonight. I suspect Trump will continue along the Bill Clinton attack which won't serve him well in retrospection. Just a hunch.
Too early for Clinton to bring up the pending rape/pedaphile lawsuit against Trump.
Court document
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/lisa-bloom/why-the-new-child-rape-ca_b_10619944.html
The timing of this court proceeding could coincide with the election so it could be a card played down the road or at least be the source of major disruption. I also suspect others will come forward like in the Bill Cosby case. I think he is a sexual predator or at least a first class creep based on his own words.
Personally I think Trump is done. His political supporters are dropping like flies trying to distance themselves to save their political career. The damage done to the GOP will be felt for years to come. Not a single mainstream newspaper has endorsed him. He still has a core that probably will still vote for him no matter what. As Trump himself has said I could shoot someone and not lose votes. Probably true to some extent.

| I still can't believe Trump made it this far. I'm seeing the P word too much on Facebook now. I love watching Presidential debates just not the primary ones so will watch. In MA we are the bluest state so I'm writing in Bernie's name. | |

| Trump should put aside his ego and allow Pence to take over. If he doesn't Hillary will win.
Funny how the coincidence of both leaks came out at the same time a month before the election.

| BIS. I agree Trump is done, however, I'm not buying the rape case and it's only the HP. | |

Funny how the coincidence of both leaks came out at the same time a month before the election. He can't. Early balloting has already started. The GOP is stuck with trump. Rule #9

Hopefully it's not true but I have a feeling it is only the tip of the iceberg.

| Ballots have to be printed so much in advance that even a month ago would have been too late. Can the Republicans roll out a better crew next time? I prefer balance and am afraid of a Dem sweep. Romney lived in the next town when he ran. | |

I bet the GOP would swap for ANY of these characters right now.

| Presidential Debate: "I'm not bad, you're bad." "I'm not bad, you're worse." "No, you're worse." "No, you're the worst." "No you are!" "I know you are but what am I" | |

Like being back in middle school! I did like the last question - What do you admire about the other candidate? - and the answers. Good to see some civility for a change!

I didn't make it to the last question. That would have been interesting to hear. I just couldn't take anymore early on so I had to turn it off.

| It was indeed hard to sit through, so much negativity.
The answers to the last question: Clinton praised Trump's family. Trump praised Clinton's tenacity - "She doesn't quit."
It was a positive closing, and also gave some insight into what these two people value.

| The next 4 years......
With Hillary....the same as the past 8 years and can become worse.
With Trump.....no one really knows what the hell he is going to do. And whatever changes he is going to make, I don't think America is ready for.

| I thought both candidates were telling in that final answer. I think they both answered with traits they admire and find within themselves. | |

I think people like myself may be in the minority given that so many people complain about the last 8 years. The last 8 years were the most prosperous ever for my wife and I. But I think we may live a bit in a bubble here in CA where growth was exceptional for both our careers.

The past 8 years have been good for me and the people I know. The doom-and-gloom line pushed by Trump is puzzling in the face of economic facts, but i guess there are always people who feel they are losing, regardless of the big picture. Radical Islam has been a problem for a long time. It will continue to bubble along as we play whack-a-mole with the front men - bin Laden, al Baghdadi, whoever is next. I support the coalition -building approach to dealing with this, and consider the vast majority of peaceful Muslims an essential part of the coalition, here and abroad. Trump's ham-handed style will undermine the coalition and make things worse. ISIS chose to try to seize and hold territory so it could claim a caliphate - not a winning strategy, as the steady roll-back of their territory is proving. When, within the next couple of years, they lose essentially all of their territory and their leader is killed, someone else from that part of the world will emerge to appeal to the people who feel they are losing in that part of the world. So it goes.

| I'm not a fan of Hillary but under Bill we didn't have deficits. Perhaps the economy improves. I did like her answer on improving Romneycare. | |
