| Is there a big age difference between you and your spouse/significant other? If not, and you were single what would be the youngest you would date? Or does age not matter at all? | |

| 2 years difference currently. As for if I were single, I don't think age is quite the issue as maturity and compatibility. Obviously I'd need her to be at least 21, when I was single I dated several girls in their 20s and found while some were very mature and we got along very well, others were far too "young" mentally for me, and we found we had nothing really in common aside from mutual attraction. There are always exceptions, but I'd probably not go much younger than 26 and even that's a stretch. | |

| My husband is 9 years older than me. While I was still single I thought +/- 5 years was the most I'd want to go. I guess it helps that we started seeing each other when I was 40, so the age difference wasn't that big an issue. | |

Are you in your 40's Captain? Almost, I'm 38 Spunky. When I was single I dated some women in their 40s though... it was interesting that the ones I dated were more hung up on age than I was.

| I just wonder if someone was in their 40's, done with having kids, could really have a good long relationship with someone in their 20's who says they don't have to have kids of their own. That would be my big hang up with dating and getting serious with someone younger. | |

| The biggest disconnect I'd foresee with someone too young is just a lack of compatibility. I'm sure there are exceptions and I don't want to make blanket generalizations, but people from 20-24 (men and women)... at that age their priorities and interests will rarely coincide with mine. There's nothing wrong with that, I had the same priorities at that age, but now I'd be looking for different things in a date. | |

| Hubby is 2 years older than I am.
At my age (50's) if I were single, Id say +/- 5 years.

| I'm just a few days short of bring a year older than my wife. This is what happens when you meet your future spouse in college (or HS). Anniversary #41 coming up in June. I don't even want to think about being back in the dating game. | |

| There is only a 4 year difference.
These women who are considered Cougars. I would think it must make them feel actually older dating a guy 20 years their junior. What do they have in common? The 20 something year old guy must be after the free dinners.

| I found when I was single that older women had much more a sense of confidence, maturity, and experience one cannot find in the younger folks. | |

| The other option of course is combine ages for a more appropriate relationship. | |

Also, I wonder(from an advertising/subscriber point) how PB magazine is doing now that his daughter took it over.

Also, I wonder(from an advertising/subscriber point) how PB magazine is doing now that his daughter took it over. Well they are getting rid of the nudes and I heard on NPR that the mansion is being sold with the caveat that Hugh can remain to live out his days. The asking price was like 200 million. Maybe NRR could pool our resources and get all freaky with our off topics.

| I was always attracted to girls/women that were at least a couple years older than myself. I ended up marrying one that is two years older. I'm still attracted to her 20-ish years later.
Old girls rule. | |
