The first time I went through the ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) course it was new and the testing scenarios were very intense. I was shaky nervous. It was Tough! Some of the participants were near tears when their 'patient' died. There were about 150 physicians taking the course; I was the only dentist. More than half the class failed, I passed. That was thirty years ago and the course was a lot different, it isn't near as intense now and not many fail.
