Hey ya'll!!

Is anyone still here? Smile

I was reminded the other day of this group and thought I better check in seeing as how it's been forever. Lol
How has everyone been? What have ya'll been up too? Have I missed anything?

I've been good. I've started the training process to be a part of the Dona Ana County Search and Rescue team. I mean, I'm always out hiking so I figured I might as well save a life while I'm doing it. Lol

That's about all the update for me. I do have one sad update about one of our fellow runners. Do ya'll remember Rain and Shadows? He has been diagnosed with Pacreatic Cancer. His prognosis isn't good. For those of you who pray please lift some prayers up for him.

Great that you will be doing Search and Rescue. My son did that as a member of Civil Air Patrol while he was in high school, very worth while programs.

The biggest news here, in my view, is the disappearance of HonkyTonk Runner, who started this forum. O where, o where has she gone?

Yeah, I noticed I wasn't the only one who seemed to have disappeared. It was basically just the same three or four people always posting. We just couldn't seem to get this site going. It makes me sad. I miss everyone. Sad

Good to have you back, Spunky! Training for search and rescue - nice!

I remember Rain and Shadows. That's very sad news. I know very little about pancreatic cancer except it never seems to have a good prognosis. Definitely sending prayers.

MNRR is still ticking but you're right, there is not a lot of activity and I'm not sure what to do about that. Maybe a Dailies thread?

I'm still running regularly, averaging 41 miles/week, and still posting on the RWOL Dailies Beginners forum. Things have slowed down over there, too.

Me, still running, working, planning vacations, awaiting a grand baby due inOctober (#3)
Garden is done. Weather has cooled to season temps. I am hoping for good leaves this fall.

Not much going on with me. I tore a hamstring last September and am finally running better. That's too bad about Rain and Shadows? Does his name begin with G? I can send HTR a message via FB. She isn't on there much, but that seems to be the only place I can contact her.

Hello!

Only thing new with me is I'm starting to run again. Really low miles, but you gotta start somewhere. Spent a good chunk of September just being sick with a bad sinus infection and coughing up a lung.

Thanks for the update. Like you, I have not had the site itself cause any problems with computer, phone or iPad. Hiwever, I now have ad blockers on all; the ads were causing problems.
