Father's Day Weekend Plans Empty
PostSubject: Father's Day Weekend Plans   Father's Day Weekend Plans EmptySat Jun 18, 2016 8:35 am

So what all do you wonderful fathers and wives or daughter/sons of fathers have planned for this weekend?
Last night I just chilled at the house and watched a movie. Today (Saturday) I've planned something that I hope will go over well. For Fathers Day and with it being my husbands birthday this week I've planned a surprise scavenger hunt thing for him to do with our family. My daughter and I have hidden clues all over the house. He/We have to take pictures of all of us doing certain fun things. Then a clue will take us about an hour and half away to Cattlemens Steakhouse. I don't know if ya'll have ever heard of it, but apparently it's a huge ranch that has all kind of animals, a lake, carriage rides, etc to do along with an amazing restaurant. (He won't know that's where were going until we pull into the entrance there. After that the next clue will take us to ColdStone Creamery where we will eat his ice cream cake or whatever kind of thing he wants to order. I hope all of this goes over well. I'm actually kind of excited about it all. We'll see if I can pull it off and if he likes it.
Then Sunday I'll just wait on him hand and foot. Smile
My dad and step dad have already passed away so for them I'll take a moment of silence at some point and look back on my life with them. Smile
So that's my plans. What about ya'll?!

Those are great plans, Spunky.  I'm sure it will be a grand affair, enjoyed by all!  Father's Day Weekend Plans 624633195

As for me, I have once again been taken by surprise — didn't realize tomorrow is Father's Day.  No, I do not live under a rock; I often forget my own birthday.  I have never forgotten our anniversary, DW's birthday, or the kids' birthday/anniversaries.  But my own BD?  Yeah, several times.

Anyway, tomorrow I will be finishing up the remodel of our bedroom and start moving things back in.

Happy weekend gang. poppy, I have one more birthday, next May, after that I plan to forget any others. Very Happy
Spunky, sounds like a fun time. Enjoy.
We are Watching GS #1 this afternoon. No plans as yet for Father's Day. I was just out to my dads last weekend for his birthday. Not sure what we are doing tomorrow. It's going to be too hot to do much outside. Watching the US open off and on when indoors. I have also started GS #2s big boy bed quilt. Just laying out some squares. Pictures will come when it progresses a bit.
Happy Father's Day!
