Question about fetishes

I wonder what causes people to have fetishes? Me and some friends of mine were discussing the different things that turn people on and some of the things I had never even heard about! Then other's like poop porn I just don't understand. It made me wonder how fetishes begin. If it's something that happens in one's childhood or what? Like why do some people get turned on by smelling shoes and other people don't?

I hope this subject isn't too racy of a topic. The moderators may want to delete this one if I've overstepped. I just thought it would be an interesting topic to discuss and might liven things up around here. Lol

Wow! Those were really interesting. I hadn't heard of many of those fetishes. Which brings me back to my question. Why?

I mean, I'm trying to think of what turns me on that other's don't like and in my mind I'm like how can you NOT like that? Maybe that's what people with weird fetishes think?

I had a dream a few weeks ago that DH and I were at my daughters house. We were cleaning. (?). There was a spider in a web,in the house, that was so big we had to use a shovel to retrieve it. Said daughter doesn't have a house. So I think I am safe to visit her. These usually start when I start working outside. Dag-on bugs! I think my BP is up just thinking about it.
